Researching of the structure and properties of FCAW hardfacing based on Fe-Ti-Mo-B-C welded under low current

The aim of this work was to obtain a wear-resistant coating by surfacing with powder electrodes the multi-component system Fe-Ti-Mo-B-C using currents that are lower than standard values. theoretical calculation thermal cycle during process performed determine impact on working surface outside melting zone. Structure harfacing were investigated method scanning electron microscopy (SEM), phase composition X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD). It hardfacing proposed under low current provides high hardness and wear resistance in first deposited layer. Testing hardfacings one three layers showed slight difference layers. Investigation fusion zone shown an absents defects. established could be used increasing durability equipment parts, where overheat base material is undesirable.
